I think you've done a spectacular job with this and if I were your commissioner I'd be really pleased with this work. That being said, there are a few things that stick out for me with it.
As *Kairi292 mentioned, the paws are a little peculiar. For me, it's the shading or whatever that dark brown spot is underneath the paw that is fully in view that is throwing me. I can't make out what it's supposed to be and for me it makes the claws look bigger than they actually are. If it's supposed to be a piece of rock under the wolf's paw, I'd suggest adding some grass to it or giving it more detail like has been given with the rest of the rocks. But, as I said, I can't quite make out what it is.
In addition to that, with the paws, they seem wide. I think it's just how you've tried to position the toes, but whatever the case, with the paw looking wide, it makes it look a little out of proportion to the rest of the leg. The leg with the paw that we can't see entirely is fairly good, but with the one in full view it looks rather wide. It could also be because the paw appears flat (at least to me)--or flatter than it should be in any case.
Really, that's all I have to say about it. I quite adore the textures and detailing you've used throughout the rest of the piece. Just that little part is drawing my attention away from it. As I said though, this is fantastic. Great work.
Overall, its beautiful, and I really think that any advice I may give will be somewhat useless, because even without it, it is a stunning image.
But, being the nosy person I am, I'll give you advice anyway.XD
Now, for the wolf, the perspective and everything is spot on, I think. The colours, detail, everything is fine, really. It's just that the contrast of the fur seems a little too contrasty--if you get my point. You have the bright whites of the fur, with dark, dark, etchinglike shadows--perhaps lightening up the shadows under each tuft of hair would help alleviate its etching-esque look (Unless, of course, thats what you were going for, then sorry, I didn't know!)
Background wise, it is stunning. It looks almost picture perfect, and I like the detail immensely, and am sure your commissioner will too. However, the water seems off, just a tad. The water closer to the foreground in the picture seems too pebbly to be for the sea-the water you used toward the farther points of the picture, by where the cliffs end, seems more realistic, and I think that that technique, brush, whatever it was, would look much more clean towards the foreground of the picture. Otherwise, everything is beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
Great job!
